About

With more than two decades of experience in oncology research, Dr. Chun Ju Chang has built a reputation for advancing both scientific knowledge and academic mentorship. Growing up in Taiwan with a deep passion for science, she pursued advanced studies abroad, earning her Ph.D. at UCLA before further training at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Her achievements during this time—including the Lupe C. Garcia Fellowship and the Trainee Award for Research Excellence—highlighted her promise as an emerging leader in cancer biology. Today, Dr. Chang continues to expand her impact as Professor at China Medical University, where she combines cutting-edge research with teaching and mentorship. She has authored numerous high-impact publications as a principal and corresponding author, delivered invited talks at international conferences, and served on grant review panels and journal editorial boards. Her guiding belief is that education and mentorship are as critical to the progress of science as research itself.
